I woke up one night 3 yrs ago and knew I had to sing for people. I had only sung for fun before, never to showcase myself. But what should I sing? I guess I had to write my own songs... And how would I learn to play the guitar with no money and no one to teach me. So I wrote, I practiced and here I am getting a songs on country music radio! In the deep end and still learning to swim! Lets see where tommorrow takes me??!!

Hi my name is Jani V. I am a singer/songwriter originally from Chino (southern) California but now I call Tennesee home. I think one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen is the Smoky Mountains they may not be the tallest mountains (all my west coast people know what I mean) but they are soooooo lovely and just feel like home to me!
I am happily married with 3 lovely kids and all at 19 (imagine that??)!!  Well as I mentioned I knew I had to sing (I feel like it is my calling). And to my hubby's credit (and Mom's) he didn't doubt me for long, and we have made a happy home here in Nashville!

I write all my own music and sing it too! I play at writers nights and hot venues all over Nashviile and the country!!
I've been getting radio play and some really good exposure! But I'm not there yet baby. It's like I'm almost famous!! It's so close you can touch it ... but darnet where's that ladder?? But I'll reach up God'll reach down and look for my poster in Walmart!
